From what I am hearing it's the fractional shortening and ejection fraction that are the really big deal here. From my understanding the current drugs most commonly prescribed for remodeling are the beta blockers and ACE inhibitors and while they do much to decrease dilation, inhibit proinflammatory cytokines, and improve other functions, they do not do anything to increase contractility and actually often reduce it.
One of the Doctors said it looked to be a more inclusive therapy, addressing a broader array of symptoms. He also pointed out that because the results clearly pointed to dose dependency, there is a good possibility that results could be improved upon with more frequent doses and also possibly speed up the process.
Great future in ENDV. Can't wait until the other 3 trial results come. Simply unbelievable to have a non invasive device achieve these levels of efficacy. So glad I stuck it out here.
