There's been a lot written lately about investments with "Lottery-like Returns." Many investors prefer long shots to safe investments even tho the "slow but sure" approach usually produces better lifetime results. We know how phenomenally Buffett has done using a broad selection of blue chips coupled with leverage.
I've noticed that Ihubbers, even those with some money, tend to put everything into a handful of stocks. Many only post on about three boards at a time maximum. Again, broad based index funds usually produce better and safer longterm results.
So why do IHUBers bet on so few stocks? Again, it's likely the quest for "lottery-like returns."
