That it not correct. Short sales appear as 10,000 shares bid and asks which reflect MM not showing their hand. When a retail order goes off it shows the bid and ask of the actual transaction size. This is very clear by watching level 2 as there are very few trades going off on 10,000 share bids and asks and almost all trades are at the retail level. That is an disputable fact.
Retail is selling like rats jumping off a sinking ship and that is a fact.
