It’s a weird situation, it depends how long and how much Entrust used the technology.
I think this settlement will be low anywhere from 10-30 mill BUT with a revenue producing licensing agreement.
Now the other big 3, that would be a different story since as we have read one of them deliberately “stole” the technology and the others knew about strikeforce since they were competing for contracts.
9 M is taking what they can get, from a giant MS?T, to keep the lights on. I would think 3 - 5 times that amount is acceptable for this round of litigations. It will be time to take the gloves off for the next round and move to 100 M minimum.
