I just replaced my system with an AS about 2 yrs ago. I was surprised how big the outside unit was. I thought new tech would make it smaller. (?)

As far as A/C in a tough climate, Trane is junk. I know, I have two and I'm on my third coil in the 4 ton unit and third blower in the 2 ton unit. I will never buy a Trane product again.

They used to be great.
