When Apple gave Lqmt $20 million ......... They bought the CE rights to the IP. Mostly to keep it out of the hands of the competition (Samsung et alia) and secondarily if they might use it in the future.

Flat Wrong according to our local board expert. Samsung, Lugee Li, et alia could have simply used Matron's Vit105 (open Patent) for FREE (or perhaps a courtesy call to CalTec for nice gesture).
