on those many, many, many casts are you bouncing along the bottom as you cast up and across and let it come down?

i've got a couple friends ready to take me out and teach me the ropes this fall/winter...

rafted and fished the deschutes river in oregon last week...funny how heavy an 18-20" trout feels on a light fly-rod in a fast moving current : )
