What causes a K-1 to have additional tax payments and charges from your brokerage? I've had K-1s from some ETFs I've owned, but never any tax liability beyond the profit or loss I had from that trade. What causes the situations you're talking about with fees from the brokerage and any tax liability beyond the normal profit or loss made on a trade? TIA
