Good video on CNBC today interviewing a young Chinese engineer. In Beijing, and the second largest city in China, new permits to drive a new fossil fueled vehicle are quite restricted. But not electric. There is also a substantial subsidy for Electric Vehicles. This engineer has decided to purchase an electric vehicle because of this for commuting, and keep his gas powered car for going on long trips. The Chinese government is going to make a big difference here in influencing an outcome.
