I don't think you understand the volume that a mass chain does compared to an individual retailer. I also don't think you are factoring in what a mass chain does when they decide to heavily promote an item as Publix will be doing. They sometimes purchase 10x+ their normal inventory.
When you see an item stacked in the center aisle @ Wal-Mart, they call that location "action alley". I was fortunate enough to place one of my lines there. The volume is unreal. Publix may call their location something else, but they will be stacking the cases high for the final week of Dec.
Also a good point. Just because he’s approved to into 1150 stores doesn’t mean he’s in any of them, though highly likely that at least some are getting it.
