Great post 'beachhyena'. I believe the achievement of this phase III from nwbo, will mean big steps for humanity and how cancer will be treated.

"The finish line is in sight" just like the mirage of water on a hot summer day.

No matter how fast or how far down the road you drive, the water always appears to be just as far away as before.

Given that this company has delayed this trial's completion at least twice, once by adding patients (that they did not end up fully treating) and more recently by blowing past the primary endpoint of PFS and holding off until a certain number of OS events takes place, there is no way to know where the finish line is now, let alone where it will be in 3 to 6 months.

Whether or not the finish line for DCVax L is the real deal or just another mirage has yet to be seen, but what we can say for sure there is no quantifiable and measurable way to say that we are near that finish line or to establish that that finish line will not simply get moved again with little or no warning.
