Oh, trust me, I'm with you 100%

I'm actually playing devil's advocate. I bought with my Roth IRA too. I rolled my 401K into it a few years ago when my employment situation was less than desirable (lower tax bracket = best time to pay taxes on 401K, then roll into roth ira).

I just started using my ROTH to play with stocks, but I got hit hard. Ergo, I'm going ALL IN with FUSZ. But if this hits, then I'll move it back into a index fund.

Not tax free. You pay later when you don't have an income. So instead of paying your yearly taxes you can divert that payment later on in life so you don't have that tacked on top throwing you in to a giant tax bracket.
