Remember-one-thing: Jerry-Seinfeld owned the name "The Soup Nazi"

For that reason you will never see Al in public alluding to it or the company using it in print.

Of course, it's on the tip of the tongue of everyone who recognizes the character (a huge advertising advantage) but he must call himself "The Soupman" or some other innocuous handle.

Unless "Soupman" is expressly contained in the "sale of assets" the answer would probably be "No!"

Or unless there's another "sale" in one form or another, of the operations portion of the company.

All IMHO, of course.

Funny. You are asking the same thing I have been pondering. Brand name, licensing, ect.. What good are the assets of The Original Soupman if you can't legally sell the product? I think there are more negotiations to be done here.

SOUPQ is still the issuer of shares which means we own the rights, not Gallant.

By the way, I believe your email is legit as my DD has on Hagan has confirmed, but I don't trust the words of Hagan.
