My friend is in nursing school in San Juan. He delayed going back to school because of Irma only to get back in time for Maria. He said they got hit really hard. They had their downstairs neighbors over when I talked to him cause the storm surge had ruined the first floor.
A different friend I met when I was living the fine town of ponce;) who lives in the hills above coamo said most of the houses in his area were swept away by mudslides. Loved the people in Puerto Rico from my 2 stints staying there so it's sad to hear what's happened.
