I looked at some of the Terminated receivership for other seized banks after WAMU, if you look at the dates - one is Receivership Terminated Notice and then Second date is Final Receivership Termination Date.
These two date vary from 4-5 months to a 2-3 years. So what I am saying if you expect this receivership to be closed in less than a year, then there shall be a notice of termination right now for a Bank of this size. But there is NO Notice that we have seen, and that is what the data shows.

Thanks for inquiring, Johnny.
My optimistic side is hoping he looks at the wall over his desk, sees "WAMU > sept 2018 end" and answers questions accordingly.
Given what I've read and learned, it does make the most sense that many payments will be made over many quarters. May the waterfall begin to flow in October.

Most relevant thing we've heard today imo:

" I pressed him and asked him if we were close
to the finalization and was it to close this year. He stated "NO". I asked are we months, years out still he said "not years".

There you have it, clear as day.
1. Returns will come our way.
2. No returns coming our way in 2017.
3. Very likely in 2018.

Ok folks, good to see you after all this time. Think I can get on with my other life until after New Years at least.
Thanks Johnnyyoullgetsome!
