That's right. And ZEV's are ready today...

So why take the unnecessary intermediate step with NGV's?

We can go directly to ZEV's. That's what vehicle manufacturers are beginning to decide !

Your absolutely correct Whas. All the truck manufacturers will tell you the same story on Electric vehicles. It may work and is currently being tested in the city delivery market. These units have a range of about 60 miles max. The technology is just not there and they all admit reduced cargo capacity due to the added weight of the batteries. Many are hopeful but I view their responses as part of the PC culture that we live in.

PS Diesel prices are bouncing around like a silly putty ball in my area. Just a few days ago diesel was selling at 2.80 a gallon and moving higher. Today its dropped back under 2.70. Believe the National average has retreated just alitlle @ 2.78 down 1.6 cents
