It is very old news but shows fallability of a single person - normally the lead investigators are biased towards the trial simply because they want to be part of a successful trial.
That is one of the reasons - there are 3rd party validations and peer reviewed papers.
What I wanted to highlight was - Dr had made similar claims on another trial which failed later (not his mistake) and he can make same mistake again.
Let Dr M publish full report of extended trial which will give some credibility
