I think the auction process would entail POW! making it known it was for sale and openly welcoming offers.
But, POW! the Camsing agreement forbids POW! from soliciting offers, even though POW! can respond to offers. POW! never did a press release admitting it was for sale.
My plan A is to wait and see if a better offer popped up on its own. I considered soliciting offers, but, I would feel bound by any that did come, even if they were only slightly better. I would feel bound to release any dissenter rights I have.
I also doubt any better offers are coming.

I saw that about Interplay. I would think that the IP will sell eventually. I'm not sure what terms they were/are looking at, though. They could be asking for too much.
