#45878 RE: RockRoll #45872

I agree with you. My thoughts on this topic are the following: I don't believe it one bit...lol. Aside from that, it was just speculation on my part about MIGME and Momentous, when the MIGME/SPCL deal fell through. I was obviously pointing out that it would have been a good fit with Momentous, as we've already got one foreign social media network. There is zero evidence anywhere of any talks of MIGME and TNTM and I did search.

If this alleged deal between MIG and TNTM comes to fruition, then someone knew something in advance, and that is fine so be it--but I can't get on board with believing it based on thin air. Even so, it just doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever--just as you say. No one has been able to provide a link or any evidence of this occurring. So until information is released from Steven Goh himself, I wouldn't put any stock into that statement.

The truth is we're not really sure what type of company Momentous is either currently in deals with to acquire, or has their eyes set on acquiring. My guess is it "could" possibly be an OTT streaming platform, since their M.O. is to buy existing companies and rebuild them. And the goal is to launch an OTT streaming platform, which I have stated many times was actually part of the acquisition agreement with Poolworks. Anyone who wants to delve further into the Poolworks/OTT streaming can read the synopsis I wrote back in July here:

It wouldn't seem like Momentous's usual strategy to build an OTT streaming platform from scratch, but hey, I could be wrong. Although, again, why would they? Think. They bought an existing social media network, an existing gaming company, and an existing mobile advertising company already, with an existing ecommerce company still yet to close.

So if they do buy an existing OTT streaming platform (or merge with one somehow), then it would be up and running very quickly after they fashion it to fit their needs. IF their plan is to build one from scratch, then that is a whole other ballgame and not sure how long that would take. Either way, be sure of one thing--we're getting that OTT streaming platform. Whether or not that is the next acquisition remains to be seen. Could certainly be something else.

Great things coming together in the future in my opinion, despite those who disagree. We shall see. :)
