The DD that you're referring to is clearly the type of DD people should avoid.

As is your claim that because some public record shows different ownership of a trademark or website that the company doesn't get any or all revenue. The two issues are totally unrelated.

Outdated and/or misleading public information doesn't trump contracts between companies
