Whining takes many forms and the most prevalent on this board is the stream of criticism of the upper management of the company; this has been pretty constant for years. My question is what can be done? If there is no solution to the problem then nagging on about it does no good whatsoever. If the CEO can be removed by shareholder action then someone with motivation, insight, and knowledge should be planning now for the next general meeting.
I will gladly send my proxy to someone who can use it; I don't hold much in the big scheme of things but if someone collects proxies from many small holders then perhaps a statement can be made even if we can't effect change. I live 3000 miles away and have little knowledge of how such a vote would be organised and whether or not someone could bring in major institutional holders.
