The Press Release is worded differently than before. "ADEPT provides everything the U.S. Navy sailor needs for periodic maintenance of complex electronic systems in a single enclosure."
Heretofore ADEPT was used for radar. Now it's "complex electronic systems."
Is it too much to speculate that MKRS will be doing more than radar? There was no news on bobchar's find of integrating ADSSS with General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) for the Total Shipboard Computing Environment. At that time the Navy Solicitation read, "GDMS is the only qualified and known source with the special test equipment, special tooling, and facilities that can support this highly complex requirement."
Mikros Systems is coming up in the world.
