Anyone hoping for news this week or next should probably cool it for now. My broker is based in south florida near Malecon Pharmacy and Omni HQ. They closed shop on Monday to evacuate. If the storm hits Sunday as planned we probably won't get much or any news from the company for at least another week.
There will probably be a temporary financial hit to Malecon Pharmacy as there won't be anyone around to buy product for a few weeks. The other Omni facilities seem to be in more modern and perhaps higher rise buildings.
We won't know until next week what the full impact will be but we need to just sit tight and assume we won't see news for a while. I'm sure the exchanges and SEC will be granting a lot of leeway to florida based companies on their financial requirements under the circumstances.
