Not strong on science, but strong on logic and ability to articulate your thoughts. Sometimes you don't need to be scientist, you just to "read between the lines". Good post Polar, as usual.

Long AVXL as well, bought 2K more today, all the while sitting at 9000' AGL, in very smokey Bitteroot of Montana. A first for me. lol Thank god for smartphones.

One thing that I contemplate that hasn't been brought up yet is this......

If A2-73 restores cellular homeostasis and "cured" insomnia on the 8 patients affected with Insomnia coupled with the evidence it helped several individuals (the painter, the piano player, the golfer, etc.) get back their lives then:

What is the possibility we see AA from the AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT?

If AA is going to happen with AD, I surely would expect to see it happen in Australia. Perhaps McFarlane's Rotary speech was an effort to make A2-73 more visible and when (IF) the Aussie Gov't provides AA, many people who attended the meeting would have an "Ah-ha" moment (if they remember, they were present at his speech).

Perhaps our resident FDA guru knows the protocol for Australia?!

Hi polar bear, greatly enjoyed your post as well as so many other worthy posters on this rather magnificent board. (You know who you are!). Although I hold no Science Or Investment degrees, I do possess a worthy amount common sense and logic. It has served me well over my lifetime ..I can also read. Sometimes too quickly to fully absorb what is in front of my (our) eyes and in doing so miss the FULL impact of ones words.... So let's all take our time here..."Our results reveal that ANAVEX 2-73 is able to ameliorate parkinsonian motor symptoms" AND "exerts neuroprotective/neurorestorative effects on the nigrostriatal dopamine system". Do we have any idea what those words mean??... "Restores cellular homeostasis"...Whoever heard of such language ever used before in history!

So I took the time to go to thesaurus.com to better understand the definition of the those words "ameliorate" and "dopamine system".

I urge you all to do the same... Take your time and let it sink in...
