I am old enough to back that assessment with you. Court time (appearance) costs money. Most judges today have HUGE case loads and Just like the police, they would rather sign off (police case, give you a report to turn into your insurance company) on an agreement reached overnight by both sides but never forget the BK Judge herself in this case, will have the final say and you CAN APPEAL a judge's decision which is the only thing about this entire situation that bothers me......the TIME lag....and how much will the PPS rise or fall if there is an appeal and we have to wait months for THAT decision.

When I hit about 40, I stopped using attorneys and judges for most of my business life. Let's say I was buying or selling a commercial property....I do all the paperwork myself through a paralegal friend and then just pay the associated minimum FEES to get all the paperwork simply signed by the right people and although a poor example, the entire legal system basically works the same way. At every step of the way there are folks with their hands out, attorneys, court clerks, county/state/fed fees, judges "Time" fees, "appeal" court "time" fees and so on.

It is an incredible waste of money these days and finally people are waking up to the fact that 50 yrs ago, no one ever sued each other.....we all worked it out amongst ourselves, came to agreements, the responsible governmental party signed off on the agreement and that was that.

Those of you whom have done the most extensive DD on this potential agreement/take-over............what I would like to know is with all the wrangling about ultimate control of the company, what is in the absolute best interest of all parties involved and what will make the most money for the company, management, and shareholders over lets say the next 7 years (the minimum length of a bankruptcy's effect on your credit rating)??

I am not talking about taking a position and holding it for the next 7 years.....what I would like to hear the boards consensus on what or where SOUPQ will be trading lets say by the end of the 4th qtr, 2017??

Thanks for any helpful input and yes I have been doing my own DD since the first "real" pop in price last week, but I just happen to be in a place that I can throw some serious money at this tomorrow (or whenever) and help support the PPS.

GO SOUPQ !!!!

Courts don't do things that way. A judge calls the attorneys in the back, listens to the spiel and tells everyone to work it out and come back tomorrow to see if you have a deal. The attorneys will be up all night trying to reach a settlement.
