The WMIH shares are tradable and can be sold at any point and you're out. These shares represent your participation in the progress of WMIH's business, just as with stock for any other company. As the WMIH business grows, with as some believe, the sale of WMI Estate assets to the company in exchange for cash/shares of WMIH, so will the pps increase. This is all pure speculation at the moment, but it seems plausible.

The WAMPQ's are your interest in the remains of the WMI Estate that filed for bankruptcy in 2008. The major Creditors of WMI have been paid and about $50-60 Million is still owed to a few remaining claimants. The belief is that WMI secured Billions in assets outside the bankruptcy. Once the bankruptcy is closed, these assets will be returned to the estate for distribution. The rest is as I stated in my previous response to your question.
