There is zero chance that Liquidmetal (at a US facility) is in the iPhone for a September or October release. Production on parts would have started in the spring. Assembly has to begin in late July/early August. I would also say there is zero chance that Liquidmetal is in the iPhone this year. You would have seen evidence in quarterly numbers at LQMT and/or EONTEC. Not happening.
If you are correct, then we shall get to watch Li dance on a very narrow tightrope. Who is going to represent LQMT and Eontec in negotiating the royalty rate? How is he going to keep the LQMT share holders happy and believing that we got the highest royalty rate possible, and simultaneously, keep the Eontec share holders happy believing that they got the lowest royalty rate possible?
