When they say "...spent several years playing professional baseball for the Texas Rangers," it's a lie. Actually it's two lies -- he played two years, not several -- 1991 and 1992.

And he did NOT play for the Texas Rangers. He played for the Butte Copper Kings and the Gulf Coast League Rangers (both of which are Rookie Leagues, a step below A).

Those two clubs were AFFILIATES of the Texas Rangers. Anyone playing on those two teams in 1991 and 1992 played for a group of investors headed by George Bush -- they did NOT play for the Texas Rangers unless they were called up to the Major Leagues.

It's simple really. Anyone currently playing in the Farm Club System affiliated with the Texas Rangers is playing for a group called Rangers Baseball Express, LLC. They are NOT playing for the Texas Rangers.

Here's another example: the Boston Red Sox team is owned by New England Sports Ventures, which means that anyone playing in the Red Sox Farm System is playing for New England Sports Ventures, NOT "playing for the Boston Red Sox."
