Talon, the gravity of what Biogen is experiencing is a huge test of character. If Biogen replicated the trials of others they know what must be done. Their decision is a do or die so even if they know what must be done it is still a huge decision. This goes back to Missling's comments "the bigger the deal...". Biogen doesn't have enough cask to buy us outright so Biogen's dilemma is what % of us can they buy with their resources? Once that happens other BP's will be in a position to trounce on Biogen. That is what I expect to happen.

Ok, as soon as I started watching the video about Biogen and their cure for MS I couldn't help but instantly think about Anavex. OK so I am biased but the 3 Dr's in the video are either so completely phool of shet or they are talking about complete partnership with Anavex. Funny how all the terms and lingo that ,Dr. Missling has been globetrotting to conferences over, soon starts sounding the same. "Precision medicine", finding the commonality and treating multiple diseases in the neurology field. It will be interesting to see very soon exactly what unfolds.
I also believe with others here that Anavex is waiting and will leverage ALZ with Rett and PK validation. March-April or sooner next year for all THREE! The entire path of A 2-73 to market will is and will be a novel, ground breaking approach that has never been tried before. These are "state of the art", highly powered small trials!!! HELLO!!! Providing that Rett and PK are successful, it will be nothing but formalities after that.

Take another look at the Biogen Lab video, especially where Dr Sandrock talks about going for the cure and applying what is learned from M/S to other neurodegenerative diseases.

Remyelination....Think what a drug that actually repairs nerve sheaths rather than just treating the disease symptoms would do to the M/S treatment world? It is the "Holy Grail".....Biogen knows this and its lab manager's, Drs Sandrock, Rudick, Ransohoff and Henderson have stated that in the Biogen Lab clip below, and ANAVEX knows it. Some of the other BPs may soon know what we have and will comprehend what a simple safe tablet form of 2-73 will due to M/S treatment cost. Last but most importantly the FDA and Congress will see a much more effective and cheaper drug to stop the spiraling costs of M/S disease.

These polarized dynamics are massive. If you imagine a barrier with a strong vertical line defining the interface between two bodies. On one side are giant +++++ (pluses, which represent knowledge and information) and the other side of the barrier represents need for information and knowledge with massive ----- minus charges (representing need for information). There is certain to be some minor LEAKAGE across that barrier from + to -, the information will leak, then flow, then suddenly avalanche conditions will occur. We may not even know what happened to trigger it. The strong bias variable is $$$, lots of $$$ at stake, depending on when the first leaks start. In this model the breakdown/avalanche condition point is unknown but it has some $$$$$ value which IMO will be reached before the Sept 11 session. Sweet.
