Ge was advertising natural gas fuel cell powered residential home generators on TV in 2000, just before Nat Gas prices went up 800% for the next 8 years. That went well too. GE stock is getting clobbered, they should have Bought have bought MVTG and the ERC technology, instead of buying the dead Nat gas turbine business of Alstom and getting buried debt for a power division that had not sold a new gas turbine in over 18 months. That is why Alstom was funding MVTG!!! They saw their future in the MVTG ERC technology. Perhaps GE bought Alstom also to bury MVTG tech before it could compete with fossil fuel power generation business?
