Constitution The good Dr has not gone the "Major Secondary" route before.
The Lincoln financing was a back up to any early fianance issues.
The good Dr has enough on the bank with Partnership Funding to begin and finish all three Phase 2/3 Trials.
However .. the good Dr never wants to be a beggar.. so $25 million with $3 million quarterly burn..plus Clinical cost may bring the good Dr back to finance markets..
However.. since Rett Syndrome is only a 12 week trial.. the good Dr may and should (IMO) wait until that Trial underway.
I believe there is more $$ in Lincoln Finance Agreement that Anavex may tap.. and when the Rett Trial shows immediate impact(IMO) then the cost of those funds should be dramatically less.. dramatically.
For now the $24 million should suffice through end of year and start of all three trials..
Also. At some point Government $$$ Should find their way to defray research costs..
I just called The President and DJT said since Merck just left his Board he is looking for a new BioPharm CEO..
I mentioned the good Dr.. We will see.. ( everything I just said about DJT is tongue in cheek..JIC)
