One of the reasons for this post, was to highlight Rio Tinto and Freeport McMoRan.
Freeport-McMoRan is currently 13% Japanese owned. It started business in 1912 as a Sulfur mining company. Just so happens CCTC's patented process extracts sulfur from coal in a recoverable manner. F.M. has also dealt with issues surrounding acid run-off over the years. (Something we solve) My guess is CCTC may look quite attractive to Freeport.
"The Political Economy Research Institute ranks Freeport-McMoRan #41 among corporations emitting airborne pollutants in the U.S. The ranking is based on emission quantities (4.5 million pounds in 2013) and toxicity."
