Freeport-McMoRan is currently 13% Japanese owned. It started business in 1912 as a Sulfur mining company. Just so happens CCTC's patented process extracts sulfur from coal in a recoverable manner.
F.M. has also dealt with issues surrounding acid run-off over the years. (Something we solve)
My guess is CCTC may look quite attractive to Freeport.
