That just isn't true. Sure, technical analysis won't predict what'll happen over 20 or 30 years. It works best in the relatively short term.

But it does work. IF you're good at it. A mistake many online traders make is to use a zillion indicators. That won't tell you anything. Often nothing but moving averages are necessary. Maybe throw in BBands, if you like 'em. But no more than four indicators. Any more than that, and you'll begin to get conflicting results, which will only confuse you.

Find what works for you, and forget about the rest.
