I think that lending program is perfect for "be right, sit tight" stocks like AUPH (and like ARIA was, though I never lent out ARIA shares and don't believe Schwab offered to borrow them).

I have put a few thousand dollars in the bank via this program while waiting for a long term exit strategy to come to fruition.

fwiw - program extends to both IRA and normal accounts, and can be initiated with a quick short form for each account.
