I had a bad back since my youth. Spending a mountain of money on Doctors, Therapists, and Chiropractors I could not find any relief.

One Christmas someone bought me one of those rubber workout balls. Slowly, I began to use it. Nothing to active. After about 3 weeks of severe back pain I was about ready to give it up. But while I was in alot of pain it was not the sharp pain I had grown accustomed too.

After 6 weeks of these light workouts in the morning with the ball, my pain started to go away.... a few weeks later all my back pain was gone. That was 5 years ago. My pain has never returned.

Hey there, pantera. AD has been worried about you. I was becoming alarmed as well, so glad to hear you are still 'with' us, even if 'not 100%'. Yes, it certainly seems like past sins catch up with us at some point in life -- it's rarely what you are doing, but more like an accumulation of what you did in the past that brings you to the breaking point. No permanent injury, I trust, and hope you're 100% soon.

Pantera, Good to hear from you. Not a better week to be away from the tape and trading than op-ex week. <VBG>

Good advice about the back. Several years I had some lower back pain and pain in my hip socket. My chiropracter told me to sell my pickup truck with bench seats and drive something with bucket seats. Also, remove my billfold from my back rear pocket, and if I needed to carry one, put it in my front pocket. I made the changes and have not had a problem since. The bench seats were a problem because when I was driving my 1.5 hour round trip commute time I was sitting on the side edge of the seat as driver and it was causing my hips and back to be out of 'plumb'. To position myself on seat where I had equal support put the steering wheel off center. Bucket seats fixed that. Amazing.
