I don't know. Maybe I am naive. But my experience with biotech is that tens of millions of dollars are needed to run large trials. I understand. In this case, we are talking about 300 participants over 6-12 months. But.

I don't get something: why is everything an exception with Anavex? The drug. The money. The financing. The data analysis.

If the Australians take on the cost of running the trial with Anavex supplying the drug and processing dat etc., then that may have the Alz trial covered, no?

Unfortunately it seems that If facts are repeated, some perceive them as FUD no matter how factual or accurate.

Has anyone here done any DD to determine the amount of funding the Australian government has apparently allocated for Alzheimer's research?

Now, did said poster even go so far as to verify and even "correct" an apparent mathematical "error" made by the quoted source? Did any of you with large sums of money invested here bother to investigate the source for yourselves?
