About the new website, I believe that the website cannot be activated because it will disclose new or secret information that John does not yet want known.
They aim to be a wholesaler, so their target audience doesn't really need a flashy website. They already know who the buyers are. That being said, I wouldn't mind a little news about revenue from all the weed they should have been storing in their vault up to now.
