"Puzzling response data" -- I suspect it is a function of digging deeper in to the Alzheimer's disease state. We know there are difficulties in diagnosis and what is routinely called "Alzheimer's" may actually have more than one cause and one course of disease progression.
I still maintain that the company is doing ground breaking Alzheimer's research in addition to preparation for trials.
