The pressure on the FDA to approve an effective treatment is enormous.
The coming Silver Tsunami makes the current U.S. healthcare system (where admin and profits are >40% of our healthcare dollar) and the current FDA approval system non viable. Washington knows this.
In addition all of the other developed countries, like Sweden and Austrailia know that the current method of care is not cutting it. This is why the Aussies supported the P2. I also expect the Japanese to support us at some point. They will be hit first and hardest by the Silver Tsunami.
We have a German division... Is it prepared to receive funds and run trials? Their Universal Healthcare system is different from the others because it includes individual carriers and is not actually Single Payer. For this reason one might expect the government to fund and supervise a trial.
Missling has said the funding is covered... I have no reason to doubt him because of the unprecedented international economic impact that 2-73 approval will have. This is also the reason that at some point the market manipulators will fail.
