There was no risk in picking him up, as he had to be grabbed IMHO. The potential risk is in playing him this week. Rumor is he may not play against LHP's at least initially and also what happens if they swing a trade for maybe Jed Lowrie? You would not think they would call him up now without planning on giving him a shot to take the job and run with it, but never know. I am thinking I may be best though to let him ride my bench this week, then see what transpires?
OK, had to put my new toy in my lineup! So, sat C. Gomez this week. Has been struggling a bit since AllStar Break and possibility of having at least one rainout this week as looks like heavy storms are in forecast for Dallas area.
