Yes...and a big cable like Time Warner will buy us out for huge dollars...never seen anything like potential here...15? 20? This is nothing more than an Android box. They aren't offering anything unique. You get the movies and TV by modding the Kodi app with addons such as these.
You can mod any Android box or Amazon Firestick with the Kodi app. Sometimes you get good playback of a movie other times you don't. Sometimes the quality of TV shows is good sometimes not so good because your relying on third parties to host the content.
Live streaming TV on these devices is horrible because they are piggybacking off the network and rebroadcasting so the quality is horrible and that's if you can even get a stream to play.
This company is negotiating with local and regional content providers to actually broadcast their signal live so the quality should be uninterupted HD quality.
Also searching for Live TV content to watch on Kodi is extremely difficult. This company is going to use the metrics gained from the partnership with Cxence to provide content tailored to the user with an easily searchable interface on the app.
