I continue to price compare Walmart with Amazon since Walmart stepped-up their online game.

I'd say about 65% of the time Walmart doesn't sell the item, so no price comparison is possible.

When Walmart does stock an item, they are less costly on inexpensive lightweight items like a pack of anti-chlorine shampoo or food item, but it takes a week to receive most items from Walmart in spite of their 2-day promise. Walmart is little bit cheaper than Amazon on Northern toilet paper, but as with most bulky or heavy items, it's less costly at a local store, in this case Smart & Final.

The biggest thing is when Walmart is less costly, it's not by much - less than $2 cheaper on items less than $100. Many items they're exactly the same price to the penny - like a shower stool my Mom needed because she fell and broke a bone in her hand and fractured her ankle.

Walmart is significantly more costly on more expensive items like an HP all in one desktop we just bought - a computer in a 27 inch screen with a wireless keyboard and mouse, a shower head more than double Amazon's price, a light dimmer 27% more costly, Sony MP3 player for the pool also 27% more costly.

Interestingly, "27% more" is almost always the premium Walmart charges over Amazon when Walmart is more expensive. Walmart seems to be leading with a $1.50 cheaper on many items hoping you'll also purchase an item which is 27% more costly.

Hi Nick.....I just bought a Gear S3 from Ebay for $244.99 (new not refurbished). Samsung Pay is great and the S3 can complete a purchase at virtually any terminal, even credit card reader only terminals. I bought 5 Neato B80 vacuums, one for each of my children. I have been using 3 Neato vacuums in my home for almost two years. They were refurbs, but with a 3 year extended warranty (repair or replace) at $249 each with free delivery from Groupon they were relatively inexpensive. I'm also an Amazon Prime member, and I sometimes buy from Jet. The bottom line; check several sites when making a purchase, I often find Ebay competitive with Prime, on many items, even after the 5% kickback for using the Prime CC.
