I think you're missing Smallville's point. He never said anything about forcing people to rebuy anything. Force has no place in a world of choices. Resales to the same customers over and over is what sustains a products growth. You must have more people buying than walking away after trying it to sustain growth. At some point you run out of new people and the business will die without resales as has happened to most fads.
Resales are a measure of whether customers like the product. New Sales are just people trying it out. There are thousands of wines out there. People re-buy what they like best. The sugar-free aspect of Bellissima is a major plus because it reduces competition, but customers buy it because they like it more than other choices for the same price-value?
