Very nice falconer...when not fighting fires I conduct Rx Burning myself, and travel as a single resource as (RXB1-Federal Quals) and do a bunch of local stuff as well. Mosty fuels mitigation efforts in the Interface here at home, but some pretty large aerial ignition burns down south in the Piedmont.

My "guy feeling" is a mix-mash of experience, training, diligence and intuition in whatever I am "doing" at the time. With stock investing, I've nailed down a few good investments based on my DD and "gut feeling" combined. Had I listened to the so called "experts" on wallstreet, I would have never taken early positions in the Companies I have invested in and made $$ on. I feel AVXL is one of these Cos. and I am getting in at a perfect time IMO. I like the recent capitulation of the slow-bleed down in SP. I have found that capitulation is usually followed by sharp increases in the other direction. Although I dont know if Anavex is done yet falling in SP. I don't try to "time" stocks, as I cannot sit a computer all day. But I do know a good deal when I see one. Anavex under $5.00 is a gift. I have another bid @ $4.80, will see what happens.

And yes, been a pretty good year for growth of the 1 hr fuels across the west, which is what is "driving' most of these wildfires as the grasses and shrubs start to cure and fire season hits it peak in August. Canada is a bit different pace to fight fires than the lower 48. Our typical tactics such as back-fires and burn-out operations are not used as much, and in some cases frowned upon. I hoping we end up in Northen Rockies, just this side of the border! But those placing the resources orders at NIFC might have different plans for us! Thanks for all your scientific insight and contributions to this board, it adds to my DD and solidifies my "gut feeling".
