My only non-IRA trading account is a margin account because of ability to buy on margin (when circumstances make it appropriate). Schwab has occasionally asked to borrow shares of other stocks and I have been paid a generous percentage in this account and an IRA account so I am surprised if they can borrow without my knowledge.

And you are right this is powerful news but it won't make the shorts disappear. It gives me hope that PN is making better decisions for the company.
