I was thinking the other day that it would be cool to see a new casino table game thats themed around a board game... It could be like roulette, but instead of picking numbers yourself, you flip a card to determine where your bet it placed along a "board game" in the center of the table... then the wheel spins and depending on where you were placed along the board, you can get huge payouts, or nothing... maybe like Monopoly

It would take some serious math to determine the odds, etc, but casinos need something new and exciting... Slot machines have gone all out on the themes. Its time for a table game.

I like it! Whether it's a "stock market" or "casino" game you could have different odds for investments/bets who's outcome is determined by chance. IE Dice, draw a card, throw a dart, etc. Players who are behind would choose more volatile stocks(otc pink lol) giving them a chance to come back while those ahead can play it safe(treasury notes or something). Personally I like the "stock market" idea cause it could very easily be used as an educational game for middle schoolers!

I think it would be awesome if they focused one of their game nights on creating games FOR students. What better learning tool than something kids actually enjoy doing, AND is educational? If they didn't want to promote competition amongst students they could do the "team" board games like pandemic where they work together to try to beat the game.

The possibilities are endless meaning sales could be too. Imagine board games as a grade school subject. You could have games of increasing difficulty as students move from grade to grade. In a k-8 school they'd need 8 different games titles, Times 6 classes per grade, times 30 schools, times 20 school districts. Ok I made up those numbers but you get the point!

They already have their foot in the door in Toronto. Even trying this in a few classes to get a feel for how engaged students get or how much they improve on certain subjects. The results I think would speak for themselves. convince a few powerful teachers of its effectiveness and they'd sell it to the school boards for us! Plus if students are forced to play the games in class, imagine the sales out of class. I'd of bought one to practice and beat my classmates for sure.

The untapped potential of board games as a "learning tool" is massive imo. Possibilities are endless. Roger/Ben may already be thinking of this and that's why they've forged a relationship with the Toronto school board.

Think of how many other provinces, states, and countries would follow suit after its proven to be an amazing tool to teach!
