Well then, you'll have to trust me... People who pay for these expensive cruises are NOT inclined to rent devices that play movies from only one studio on 7" screens.

They pay large amounts of money for the entertainment that is provided on the cruise. Watching movies on a 7" screen would be a huge let-down.

chwdrhed LOL you have no clue . We went on a 14 day Panama Canal Cruise ,on the Celbrity Infinity ,launched in 2001 .this ship is 91000 tons & 963 ft long & a beam of 106 ft . It held 1950 passengers fully loaded .FWIW there is no cruise ship that currently sails with a 5000 passenger load .
