From myself who has been on 21 cruises ,I couldn't agree more .When they place large screen movies in lieu of a stage show ,the folks get upset .

Cassie - That would depend on the content. Who said only movies will be shown anyway... anyone ever think about games? The kids would LOVE them.

Yeah, you know they will be too busy watching cheap entertainment provided by 2nd rate Vegas rejects in the "ballroom".
Aside from that they will also have to contend with the constant intestinal "distress" provided by Norwalk virus that are provided on most of these cruises gratis.
