Here's my take on this UK and believe me it is just speculation:
I know, it seems like a perfect match for product buyout or partnership with Smart Insole and Dr. Scholl's. If the Smart Insole takes off here in the USA, no doubt it will take a few of Dr Scholl's customers away from them. But maybe selling off the Smart Insole might weaken a deal from a bigger buyer of ALL the patches. It would seem to me that if a buyer or partner is willing to negotiate, the Smart Insole would have to be included along with ALL other patches. Maybe that (all products) is what Bielectronic's foresees as the strength they have in their negotiations. I am sure, if management knew that they could make 2 deals, one for Smart Insole with Dr. Scholl's, another for the Actipatch with another major name, and that would result in greater financial return, they would (could) go that route. Anyway, we are all speculating on all possible deals, let's see if ANY materialize.
Seriously I am not so dead set on selling out. Of course, if an offer 'knocks their socks off', go for it. But I would like to hear if there are talks of some licensing deal for the products, or if by chance they can pull this off alone with major USA distributor, THAT might be more bang for our buck. We might have to wait longer for our financial success (profit) as investors but that success might be unlimited!
Who knows what talks might be taking place behind closed doors.
